To receive a financial aid estimate or meet with an adviser, please fill out the information requested below.

IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BELOW BEFORE SUBMITTING.

Estimate Disclaimer: This is an estimate that will review your financial aid eligibility based on the program selected and is intended for planning purposes only. Your estimate reflects potential financial aid eligibility and is not a final award.

Tips for a Successful Submission: Complete all requested fields and double-check your program and term before submitting. Incorrect program or term information means we cannot provide an estimate for you.

For example, students requesting an estimate for the London School of Economics should note that there are two separate program names. For the summer quarter, the program name is listed as Summer School: LSE. For the academic year, it is the London School of Economics. Please review your program brochure carefully for the program name.

Duplicate Requests: Submit only one request per program and term. Duplicate submissions will be cancelled and not reviewed. Please refer to the email communication you already received for information on financial aid eligibility.

Disclaimer: Summer study abroad estimates apply only to study abroad programs. They do not cover credit-bearing coursework through Northwestern University, which follows a separate process. Please refer to the separate estimate email you received from our office for those programs.

If you are requesting an estimate for the next academic year, please note that it will be based on your current financial aid eligibility and the most recent program costs. Final amounts may change after a review of next year's financial aid application is complete and program costs are confirmed.

IMPORTANT: Double-check your program name, especially for programs with a summer quarter option, such as the London School of Economics. If the wrong program name is selected, an estimate cannot be created. Please review the submission tips above before submitting.

Please review your program brochure carefully. Certain expenses – such as housing, health insurance, or other fees – may be billed separately by the program, depending on the billing arrangement. Students are responsible for reviewing these details, budgeting for these costs, making payments on time, and confirming due dates and any available deferral options with the program.

Students attending independent programs are not eligible for any type of financial assistance or loans through Northwestern and may not use Northwestern financing options such as the prepayment plan. We recommend working with GLO and/or the program directly for any questions.

If a duplicate request is submitted or if an incorrect program name or term is selected, I understand that an estimate may not be emailed to me and and I may need to resubmit my request with the correct information.

In the meantime, I understand that I am responsible for reviewing the Study Abroad webpage, working closely with GLO, and consulting my program brochure for billing, payment, and other important program details related to my study abroad program.
